Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the espionage agency SHIELD,
arrives at a remote research center during an evacuation. The Tesseract,
an energy source of unknown potential, has turned, opened a portal
through space, which the exiled Norse god Loki (Tom Hiddleston)
resurfaced. Loki takes the Tesseract (known in the comics as Cosmic
Cube), and uses his skills to control the minds of several people of
SHIELD, including Agent Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), and consultant
physicist Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard), the order for them to
help in his escape.
In response to the attack, Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative. The agent Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johanson) is sent to India to recruit Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), while Philip Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), goes to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and asks him to see the research of Dr. Selvig. Fury goes to Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), with a mission to retrieve the Tesseract Loki. During his exile, Loki found the Chitauri, an alien race seeking to conquer the Milky Way with the Tesseract. In exchange for the Tesseract, the Chitauri agree to help Loki to dominate the Earth.
Captain America, Iron Man and Agent Romanoff traveling to Germany to exile Loki, who is recovering iridium necessary to stabilize the power of Tesseract and demanding that civilians kneel before him. After a battle with Captain America, Loki surrenders and is escorted back to a plane of SHIELD. However, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) brother Loki and the creation of the Norse god of Thunder, Loki arrives and tries to take the plane to talk to him. Iron Man and Captain America face Thor, Loki and is eventually returned to the Helicarrier, aircraft carriers High-Tech, and placed in a cell designed to hold the Hulk. However the team has yet to find where is located the Tesseract and prevent alien invasion occurs.

It starts with the treasure hunter Brock searching the wreck of the Titanic, to find the legendary necklace "Heart of the Ocean". It is shown actual pictures of the wreckage. After recovering a safe, check that there are only bank statements and esbouço of a naked woman wearing the necklace. Rose, 100 years, sees a news and curious looking Brock and tells him that it is the woman in the drawing. She recounts her experience aboard the ship.
The film returns to the present and Rose takes the necklace, as sought by Brock, and playing in the sea. In the last scene, Rose comes face to face with Jack on the staircase of the Titanic, they bejam and are applauded by those who died in the disaster. Do not know if it's a dream or if she died. The director of the film leaves it to the viewer to decide.
