The Pianist (O Pianista)
The Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman (Adrien Brody) played classical pieces in aWarsaw radio when the first bombs fell on the city in 1939. With the German invasionand the beginning of the second world war, began restrictions on Polish Jews by the Nazis. Inspired by the memories of the pianist, the film shows the emergence of the Warsaw ghetto, when the Germans built walls to settle Jews in some areas, andaccompanies the persecution that led to the capture and delivery of family of Szpilmanfor the concentration camps. Wladyslaw is the one who manages to escape and is forced to take refuge in abandoned buildings scattered throughout the city, until thenightmare of war is over.
