At your friend Mike's house are Lucas, Dustin, Mike and him. They are doing the tournament game they play almost every day, where there is a mage and the monster named demongorgon. After finishing the game they left, on the way home, the light of Will's bike is flashing and in front of him is the demongorgon himself. Will is disappearing worrying everyone in town and his friends find a girl in the same forest that Will was caught by the monster.
To save them, eleven are using their powers with the mind, which of so much use them, at the end of the third season she is losing power (Not forever, just time). So many traumas and she is suffering from the loss of her father, eleven gets unexpected help to regain her powers and deal with a new enemy.
