SYNOPSIS AND DETAILS A young, idealistic teacher arrives at a school in a poor neighborhood , which is tainted by aggression and violence. Students show rebels and unwilling to learn, and there is among them a constant racial tension . So , to make students learn and also talk over their complicated lives, Gruwell teacher ( Hilary Swank ) makes use of different teaching methods. Gradually , students will regaining confidence in themselves , accepting more knowledge, and recognizing values ​​as tolerance and respect for others .
