a)It all started in 1620, when a group of Englishmen decided to go to the United States to start a new life. They arrived in the Massachusetts area and founded the village of Plymouth.
b)After bad harvests and a harsh winter in 1620, the colonists finally had a plentiful harvest in the summer of 1621. To celebrate, they decided to make a celebration to thank God for their abundance and ask for blessings in future harvests. So Thanksgiving came about.
c)Thanksgiving dinner: families or friends get together for a great homemade dinner to celebrate the date. With the table set, it is common for everyone to say what they are grateful for (saying grace) before serving dinner. Turkey carving: turkey is the traditional Thanksgiving dish.
d)The Thanksgiving holiday is known for the huge variety of dishes that make up the typical dinner, which can last for several hours.
