→ Em 22 de dezembro de 1971, foi criada a organização internacional Médicos sem Fronteiras (Doctors Without Borders), oferecendo ajuda médica e humanitária para populações em situações de emergência, em casos como conflitos armados, catástrofes, epidemias, fome e exclusão.
