Na forma interrogativa, usamos DID no início da frase. Na forma negativa, acrescentamos DIDN’T depois do sujeito. Exemplos:

Affirmative - You arrived late. /você chegou tarde.

Interrogative – Did you arrive late?

Negative - You didn’t arrive late.

OBSERVE QUE O VERBO VOLTOU PARA O INFINITIVO, nas formas interrogativa e negativa.

Af.- Education changed my life. / Educação mudou minha vida.

Int.- Did Education change my life?

Neg.- Education didn’t change my life.

Af.- We studied History yesterday.

Int.- Did we study History yesterday?

Neg.- We didn’t study History yesterday.
