The countable nouns are those whice can be counted, as the adjective "countable" itself already suggests, that is, they can grammatically inflect in number. Examples: dogs, cars, houses, etc. The uncountable nouns, in turn, cannot be counted, that is, they don't inflect in number. Examples: bread, equipment, evidence, among others
