Mary lived in Mistyc Falls, a little town in California. Everything was super calm, except for this ancient legend saying that every Halloween two people just disappear out of nowhere. They say it's because more than a hundred years ago on the 31st, a single mom murdered her two children and then killed herself, but her soul is stuck between the real world and hell. So, not to be alone, she takes a boy and a girl every year to represent the kids.
Mary and her friends, Julia, Naomi, Anthony and Trevor, always believed that the legend was a cover for a serial killer that the police was never able to catch. So, they spent a year and a half investigating and this was finally the year they would go hunting for the killer.
What will they found? What if the legend was more than a legend? What if they just got into something they won't be able to get out of? At least, not all of them.
