Dear Flora, Hi my name is Bassam, I am fifteen years old from Jordan. I have black hair hazel eyes, like to listen to heavy metal and classic’s and play it on my guitar. I like to send letters so when I heard that we would communicate with the students of Brazil I became very interested. And also the Brazilian soccer team is the world champions so I would not miss this chance. I know a lot about your country and the people who live there.
In our country we have big problems that have to be solved and one of these problems is child labour. There are a lot of children who work till midnight selling coffee and gum in the streets. And also there are children that do heavy jobs being only eight years old. From this thing they start to learn bad habits like smoking and saying bad words.
Yet there are parents who force their children to work, and if they do not bring a lot of money at the end of the day there is no food for them. So I think that this is a bad treatment for the children instead of having love and feeling comfortable.
