Acredito que ela queira que você forme frases afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas com os verbos irregulares no past tense. Vou te dar alguns exemplos:
+ I bought her a watch. (Eu comprei à ela um relógio)
- I didn't buy her a watch.
? Did I buy her a watch?
O verbo irregular apresentando foi o buy e seu passado simples, o bought.
+ She broke my heart.
- She didn't break my heart.
? Did she break my heart?
verbo: break/ passo simples: broke
+ I drank a piña colada yesterday.
- I didn't drink a pina colada yesterday.
? Did I drink a pina colada yesterday?
verbo: drink/ passado simples: drank
+ I knew she was trouble.
- I didn't know she was trouble.
? Did I know she was trouble?
verbo: know/ passado simples: knew
Espero que seja isso ^^
