b. Must/have to: an obligation, necessity;

2. Quando queremos expressar uma ideia no passado, já que não existe o passado de must, usamos had to.

3. A sentença equivalente ao significado do fragmento I é "My teachers and the books I read say it is important to find my passion and follow it".

Explicação:

1. Analisando o primeiro exercício, precisamos saber o significado de:

a. Should. Na língua inglesa, o termo should é utilizado quando oferecemos um conselho, ou colocamos uma hipótese do que deveria ter sido feito. Exemplo:

I should choose the correct alternative. - Eu deveria escolher a alternativa correta.

b. Must/ have to. Nesse caso, temos a ideia de obrigação. Veja o exemplo:

I must obey my parents. - Eu tenho que obedecer meus pais.

I have to go home. - Eu tenho que ir para casa.

Nesse caso, o equivalente, claro, não pode afirmar que encontrar a minha paixão não é importante. Assim, ficamos com a opção:
