Resposta:
Para conjugar o verbo open no passado, precisamos adicionar "ed" no final da palavra, assim ficando opened.
E quanto ao was/were, são conjugações do verbo To Be no passado. Was para I/he/she/It e Were para you/they/we.
Assim:
I was
You were
He/she/It was
They were
We were
When I opened the door, the boys were there playing on the floor. (Letra C)
- Como aqui está falando de the boys, se usa o they(eles/elas) pois está no plural, então usa-se o were.
