Nota: Aqui você deve prestar atenção que não é necessário repetir aquilo que é possuído duas vezes numa frase, uma vez que ele já foi citado antes.

Resumo:
- O genitive case ou possessive case é utilizado para indicar que algo pertence ou está associado a alguém ou a alguma coisa.
- Para isso, utiliza-se o apóstrofo + s ('s) após o sujeito possuidor (quem possui tal coisa).
Exemplo: Helena’s cat is cute. (O gato de Helena é fofinho.)
- Se a palavra já terminar em S, não é necessário acrescentar outro S depois do apóstrofo, apenas ele.
Exemplo: The kids’ toys are broken. (Os brinquedos das crianças estão quebrados.)
