Lie, Cheat and Steal – Are They Normal Behaviors?
Sometimes we think that if children tell a lie, gossip or cheat on a test once or twice, they won’t have any serious problems in the future. Actually, everybody does these things, right?
No! If children can’t tell the difference between right or wrong, they’ll be more likely to see these things as normal when they grow up. Children who do those things will not stop to think and reflect on their actions.
Eventually, what children really need is love and guidance from their parents and educators. They are models to them.

- Children learn how to have good principles by imitating the adults that take care of them. (___)
- It’s OK to cheat once or twice if you are just a child. (___)
- Not all children need guidance and protection from their family and educators. (___)
- According to the text, if a person lies constantly when he or she is a child, this will be considered normal for them when he or she is an adult. (___)
