Short background of Halloween
It has its roots in ancient Celtic superstition. Every October 31st, both children and adults celebrate with dances, singing, dressing, up in costumes and telling tales of witches and ghosts.
Children parade from house to house knocking on doors and calling out “Trick or Treat” hoping to have their bags filled with candy.
The traditional Halloween colors are orange and black. The most typical symbol is the Jack-o’-lantern: a hallowed pumpkin with a carved face and a candle inside.
