My parents never let me travel alone, so I decided to run away from home to have my dream summer vacation! I always wanted to have an authentic summer trip to tell my grandchildren about how cool I was as a teenager.
So I took all my saved money, got on a bus and went to the most beautiful beach in town. At first, it was a lot of fun, the taste of freedom was addictive and I totally forgot about my obligations and also about my parents.
I stayed on the beach for 3 days, sleeping on the sand and eating fast food. No doubt I would have stayed more days, but I didn't count on my parents calling the police to tell them about my disappearance and that they would find me.
They put me in the car and talked about how good it was that I was alive and well, they thought that I had been kidnapped, for not want any more trouble I just agreed to everything. It wasn't what I had planned, but at least I have a good story to tell.
