Doing the calculations with the reported data we find DF = 10m.

However, I always like to confirm calculations, and using the Geogebra dynamic geometry application we can see that a measure does not actually match the problem data: CE = 11.12m. This results in DF = 13.9m.

This often occurs with math exercises, which are theoretical, but do not survive the practical test. Theoretically, the correct answer would be the algebraically calculated, 10m.
