I do like art class, especially in the 8th grade. Our teacher use his daughter’s college art sketches. We look at the drawings, select one and then we copy it on a piece of paper. Every morning our classes start with this same ritual.

I live finger painting in kindergarten. It is an activity that has it all. You make a mess without getting scold. It was great fun, and you bring your precious creation home. Your proud parents put the thing up on the refrigerator for all to see. When I was a kid it didn’t get much better than that.
