basicamente como você colocou no começo, a segunda condicional em ingles é formada por uma oração usando "would", que pode ser chamada de oração principal, enquanto que a outra oração usando "if", chamada de oração condicional, vai ficar no passado simples

isso significa que a oração principal vai ter "would" + verbo básico, sem alteração de tempo ou conjugação, tipo ele fica no infinitivo, mas sem o "to", e a oração condicional vai ter "if" e o verbo da oração vai tá no passado simples

certas expressões vão ser alteradas nessa transformação (tipo o que vinher com "too much" vou transformar para "so much", não sei se é obrigatório essa alteração especifica, mas fica melhor - já outra alteração obrigatória vai ser tipo oração com "can" vai virar "be able to", já que verbos modais não podem ser conjugados/alterados), além de tirar "because" claro.

1 - if he didn't eat so much, he wouldn't be so fat

2 - if she didn't sit up late, she wouldn't always be sleepy

4 - if he didn't have a weak heart, he would watch horrors (nesse caso poderia também ser "if he had a strong heart, he would watch horrors)

8 - if he were able to drive, we would be able to take a car (também poderia ser - if he knew how to drive, we would take a car)

na alternativa 8 destaquei "were", pois quando se trata de frases condicionais, se você for colocar passado simples no verbo "to be", ele SEMPRE vai ser conjugado como "were", independente do sujeito da oração.

10 - if she had some friends, she wouldn't feel lonely (any é usado na negativa, mas quando passa para afirmativa tem que converter para "some")

13 - if he didn't work long hours, he wouldn't be rich
