(a frase não especifica se é professor ou professora e, apesar de achar que nesse caso o "its" seria melhor, coloquei os três. veja com seu professor/ sua professora qual seria o correto. a única certeza que tenho é que certamente não é "their", porque esse é o possessivo de "they".)
