An earthquake is what happens when two blocs of the Earth suddenly slip past to another one. The
surface where they slip is called the fault or fault plane. Scientists can´t tell that an earthquake is a
foreshock until the largest earthquake happens.
The largest, main earthquake is called the mainshock.
Types of Earthquakes
There are four different types of earthquakes : tectonic, colapse and explosion.
A tectonic earthquake is one that occurs when the earths´s crust breaks due to geological forces on rocks
and adjoining plates that cause physical and chemical changes.
