I AM FROM CURITIBA!
My name is Eduardo Pereira. I live with my family in Curitiba, the capital of Paraná state.Curitiba is the biggest city
in Paraná.
Curitiba has a great environment. It’s cold in the winter and warm in the summer. It is world famous as a model
of urban planning. We have a fast bus, the ligeirinho, and a program to recycle waste, Lixo que não é lixo. Once a
week, a truck collects paper, metal, plastic, glass ,from the city’s homes. We also have Faróis do Saber that help
students.
I love living in Curitiba. Each weekday morning I take the bus to my school. I leave my apartment at 7:30 and
arrive at school by 7:45. The bus is faster than a taxi .I am in class all day. Then I go to my music lesson. I play the
trumpet. Yesterday there was a street fair near the Municipal market. It was great!
In the evenings , I do my homework and chat with my friends. I sometimes go to a restaurant with my family.
There are Italian, Arabic, Polish, German restaurants in Curitiba. That’s because Curitiba is an international city!
There was immigration from many countries in the 1900s.
Curitiba is an amazing city. COME VISIT ME IN CURITIBA!

semana, um caminhão recolhe papel, metal, plástico, vidro nas casas da cidade. Temos também Faróis do Saber que ajudam

alunos.

Eu amo morar em Curitiba. Todos os dias da manhã eu pego o ônibus para a minha escola. Saio do meu apartamento às 7:30 e

chegar na escola às 7:45. O ônibus é mais rápido que um táxi. Estou na aula o dia todo. Então eu vou para a minha aula de música. Eu jogo o

trompete. Ontem houve uma feira de rua perto do mercado Municipal. Foi ótimo!

À noite, faço meu dever de casa e converso com meus amigos. Às vezes vou a um restaurante com minha família.

Existem restaurantes italianos, árabes, poloneses e alemães em Curitiba. Isso porque Curitiba é uma cidade internacional!

Havia imigração de muitos países nos anos 1900.
