I am 14 years old. I write fan fiction. Fanfic are stories involving popular fictional characters that are written by fans and often posted on the internet. I think that the main difficulty of being a young writer is that it is hard to get impartial feedback on my work. I am afraid my family and friends will say my work is good because they like me. I submitted a story to a school literary magazine and i had posted around ten fanfictions on Wattpad. Wattpad is a social platform and community that connects people through words. With Wattpad, anyone can read or write on any device: cell phone, tablet, or computer. My most popular one has more than 110,000 reads. I get most of my feedbacks from my online readers. My main message to young writers is that they should post their work on the internet. For me, negative feedback should be used to improve your work. Believe it or no, writing my fan fictions has actually improved my writing a lot.​
