Passado Simples
Em ambos os exercícios acima, verifica-se a presença de estruturas que indicam o passado simples das sentenças, e isso significa basicamente que as frases contêm ações que iniciaram no passado e terminaram no passado, ou seja, não ocorrem mais no presente.
Com isso dito, no primeiro exercício, é necessário que o estudante conheça a forma dos verbos no passado, uma vez que o verbo irá retornar ao passado por conta da sentença original estar no passado simples. Já no segundo exercício, temos o uso de there were e was, esses que indicam o verbo havia/haviam do português, e completamos ele de acordo com a quantidade de substantivos na sentença.
