Yes, I had been in contact with some Non-Governmental Organizations.

In one of my experiences I worked as a volunteer in a hospital especialised in treatments for children with cancer, located in Sao Paulo city. The hospital needed volunteers to digitaze old folders with medical records in order to make the entire digital archive.

So this NGO named GRAACC made a bridge between the hospital and the people who wanted to help. For almost six months on my Saturday mornings I went volunteering over there.

Another experiences with NGOs were online, signing some protest organized by groups that defend environment or animal rights, like Greenpeace or WWF.
