Para que possamos comparar duas coisas na língua inglesa, utilizando-se de substantivos que nos ajudam a realizar essa comparação, primeiramente precisamos compreender as regras gramaticais que regem essa estrutura.

Nos substantivos regulares no comparativo, iremos acrescentar as palavras "er" ao final de cada uma delas, em seguida, temos as palavras irregulares, que não possuem um padrão de como utilizá-las. Ao final de ambas as regulares e irregulares, temos que utilizar a palavra "than".
