O "Can" e "Can't" indicam  a permissão / habilidade / possibilidade:

B: Yes, he can. No, my friend can't drive, but he can ride a bicycle. We can go to the beach today because it’s raining.

A: Can they come with us to the store?

B: No, they can't. Denise can play the piano. She knows how to play it. I already finished my work, so I can go home now. Excuse-me, where can I buy a bus ticket? Can you help me with my homework? "Can" é usado para expressar habilidade ou para dizer que algo é possível.

"Can" é o mesmo para todas as pessoas. Não adicionamos um 'S' na terceira pessoa (como nos outros verbos)

O verbo que vem depois de Can está no infinitivo sem o "to

Para formar o negativo, adicionamos "not" depois de lata para formar uma palavra: Cannot

Também podemos contrair o negativo para formar não podemos. (cannot = can't)
