Did you know that The Rolling Stones started out as a Blues band? I was shocked when I
found out. They are best known for their Rock and Roll and have released 50 albums already. They celebrated their 50 anniversary in 2012. In July of 1962, they debuted at the Marquee Club on London’s Oxford Street. They chose their name from a song they heard from an artist named "Muddy Waters." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. You may have heard their song "(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction" that was a top hit in the mid 1960’s.
