As tag questions em inglês nada mais são do que uma maneira de confirmar a informação que foi dada anteriormente na mesma sentença, em português também realizamos esse tipo de confirmação, mas normalmente a realizamos de forma mais simples, com uma estrutura chamada de "né".

Em inglês, necessitamos seguir uma estrutura específica, essa estrutura é basicamente o auxiliar da sentença na forma negativa ou afirmativa, e logo em seguida necessitamos repetir o sujeito da sentença anterior, sendo assim, o tag question possui uma estrutura gramatical específica a ser seguida.
