If you are a vacationer, visit the museums of the city! They're just superb for those who love art. Rio isn't limited to beaches and nightlife.
As an advice of a native, don't stay out late over the streets, because theft is overspread in the city, and don't bear valuable values of any sorts, especially on your body, not even under daylight.
