The thing about my pain,
Is it did not last forever,
It killed me at that moment,
But with time it gets better.
The thing about my scars,
Is they all started to fade,
Until nothing was left,
Of the cuts that were made.
The thing about today,
Is there's always tomorrow,
And if you can't find your smile,
I have one you can borrow.
