x = galinhas
y = coelhos

x + y = 23 => x = 23 - y
2x + 4y = 82

2(23 - y) + 4y = 82

46 - 2y + 4y = 82

- 2y + 4y = 82 - 46

2y = 36

y = 36/2

y = 18 coelhos


x = 23 - y

x = 23 - 18

x = 5  galinhas 

Há no terreiro 5 galinhas + 18 coelhos num total de 23 animais.
