The production can be considered a great bet made by National Geographic, an North American television channel destined to the presentation of documentaries and educational programs on science, technology, history and environment.
Each season tells the life of a personality important to humanity as if it were a soap opera. It isn't a series of superheroes or adaptation of a book or something. “It will not attract to the public who is not following the channel”, the executives thought. They, in fact, were wrong, because the end result was a huge success.
