won't = will + not. É a forma de colocar a frase no futuro na negativa, quando a frase tem "will'.

Simple future tense  - will + verbo

i will travel tomorrow

she will go home

we won't play tomorrow

he will be there for you

Future continuous tense  - will + be + verbo no gerúndio (ing)

she will be playing that game tomorrow

they will be helping you

we will be winning many tournaments

you won't be staying with us

Future perfect tense  - will + have + verbo no particípio do passado

he will have helped her

we will have tried

they will have won

you will have lived

you won't have helped

Future perfect continuous tense - will + have + verbo no particípio do passado + verbo no gerúndio (ing)

he will have been fighting for you

they will have been living

she won't have been playing

outras formas de falar do futuro:

usando o present continuous: to be + verbo no gerúndio (e quando na frase tem um indicador de tempo futuro, como amanhã, próxima semana/mês...)

i am meeting jim at the airport tomorrow

they are leaving town next week

They aren't leaving until the end of next year.

usando o simple present para falar de eventos já agendados/marcados/planejados (também sempre terá alguma palavra ou expressão se referindo a um futuro)

The plane arrives at 18.00 tomorrow.

She has a yoga class tomorrow morning.

The restaurant opens at 19.30 tonight.

usando "to be going to"

Is Freddy going to buy a new car soon?

Are John and Pam going to visit Milan when they are in Italy?

I think Nigel and Mary are going to have a party next week.

obrigações futuras: to be + to + verbo

You are to leave this room at once, and you are to travel by train to London.

In London you are to pick up your ticket from Mr Smith, and you are to fly to your destination alone.

When you arrive, you are to meet our agent, Mr X, who will give you further information.

futuro imediato: to be + about to + verbo

She is about to cry.

You are about to see something very unusual.

I am about to go to a meeting.

We are just about to go inside.
