Did
you know that each time you buy a new smartphone you are producing e-waste?
Every day, thousands of people work to produce and invent new and more modern electronics.
Computers, televisions, smartphones, smart watches, radios, refrigerators and many other products are
always being improved and subsequently replaced. But have you ever wondered what happens with all
those products people don't buy, or discard? Well, they become e-waste. And most of it is disposed
inappropriately, causing damages to the environment.
In a single smartphone there are lots of different types of components and chemicals. That's why it is so
hard and expensive to recycle them. Each part and component must be separated to be recycled or
reused. Here, there are some tips to reduce e-waste:
Buy only products that can be repaired. That way, you will raise its lifespan;
1. Try to keep a device the longest you can;
2. When you replace your device, do not dispose the old one in the garbage.
3. Find companies that collect and recycle it properly.

Ou em ingles: The environment is less polluted and less e-waste is generated.
