How are you? In your last e-
mail you asked me about my first party in the new apartment
I'm sorry to tell you that it was an utter disaster. I know it was entirely my fault, before you say
anything, but I guess it's one of those things you have to learn on your own. Let me give you
a brief report on what happened. First, my friends didn't know how to get here. They got lost
and arrived more than one hour after the time we had arranged. By the time they arrived, I was
already freaking out. Then, half an hour after everybody arrived, we ran out of food. I was forced
to order pizzas. I forgot to take the sodas from the freezer, so they all froze and I had to serve
water. Ironically, there were no ice cubes, so the alcoholic drinks had no ice. I miscalculated the
number of people I invited, so at a certain moment, I had to ask part of the guests to go to my
bedroom and sit on my bed because there was no room for anywhere else in the apartment. I
forgot to install the stereo so I had to play music on my cell phone, which was pathetical as you
can imagine. On top of that, I totally forgot that Kirsten is not talking to Bech because Beth is
going out with Kirsten's ex-boyfriend, Bruno. And if there is a law that always works is Murphy's.
At a certain point, Kirsten arrived with Bruno and both saw Beth. The two girls started quarreling
and it was hell. Because of a the noise, the neighbor complained to the super, who came to my
apartment and asked me to keep it down otherwise I'd be fined. So, all in all, D-1-S-A-S-T-E-R!
Next time I'll certainly ask for your help.
