Substituindo por (-7),

$\mathsf{5\cdot (-7) + 5 = 4\cdot (-7) - 2}$

$\mathsf{- 35 + 5 = - 28 - 2}$

$\mathsf{- 30 = - 30}$

R = (-7) é solução!

B) $\mathsf{5x + 5 = 4x - 2}$

Substituindo por 5,

$\mathsf{5\cdot 5 + 5 = 4\cdot 5 - 2}$

$\mathsf{25 + 5 = 20 - 2}$

$\mathsf{30 \neq 18}$

R = 5 não é solução!
