Usually:

a) We use AT for:

We use at to talk about a specific moment in time (at 5pm, at midnight) or about a specific place (at my home, at 5th Avenue, 345).

b) We use ON for:

We use on to talk about days (on Fridays, on July 5th) or about not so specific places that we can stand on the surface, like streets for example (on 5th Avenue, on a bus (we can walk on a bus)).

c) We use IN FOR:

We use in to talk about not so specific times (in November, in the 80s) or larger places, like cities or countries (in New York, in Brazil).
