As frases devem ser completadas da seguinte forma:

O “past simple” corresponde ao passado simples dos verbos regulares, que caracteriza-se por ser marcado pelo sufixo “ed”. É preciso considerar que os verbos irregulares apresentam formas próprias.

Nas frases afirmativas, a forma do passado simples é: Sujeito + passado do verbo + complemento. E nas frases negativas, a forma do passado simples é: Sujeito + did + not + passado do verbo + complemento.
