Dentro da língua inglesa, assim como na língua portuguesa ou em qualquer outra, temos uma forma de reafirmar o que foi dito anteriormente na sentença, como, por exemplo, no português, temos a palavra "né?". Já em inglês, uma estrutura é necessária.
Essa estrutura supracitada consiste basicamente em utilizar o auxiliar da frase na forma contrária a que se vê na sentença, seja ela afirmativa ou negativa, e logo em seguida, teremos que repetir o sujeito principal da sentença, e são normalmente usados os pronomes pessoais para esse tipo de situação.
