∴  There is - simple present - singular

There is a dog here.              - Há um cachorro aqui.

∴  Negativa (there is+ not)

There is not a car in the street.       - Não há um carro na rua.

There isnot an apple in the fridge. - Não há uma maçã na geladeira.

∴  Interrogativa (is + there ...?)

There are boys playing golf.         - Há meninos jogando golfe.

There are some girls at the Mall. - Há algumas meninas no shopping.

There are not people at the Mall. - Não há pessoas no shopping.

There are  not dogs barking.          - Não há cães latindo.

∴  Interrogativa - (are + there ... ?)

Are there kids playing golf?. - Há meninos jogando golfe?

Are there some girls at the Mall?. - Há algumas meninas no shopping?
