Comparativo= I had more time than it needed to finish the job.

Pelo que vi, você tem  que usar little na resposta, certo?

more little  comparativo de superioridade
less little comparativo de inferioridade
as little as de igualdade
e o superlativo seria comparando um elemento entre todos os outros
então the most little ou the least little, no entanto o superlativo neste contxto não se aplica, por não fazer sentido algum.
