Com o verbo to be:
Negativa: subject + was/were + not.
Ex.: she wasn't at school yesterday.
They weren't busy this morning.
Interrogativa: was/were + subject ?
Ex.: Was she at school yesterday?
Were they busy this morning?
Com os demais verbos:
Negativa: subject + did + not + main verb in the base form.
Ex.: I didn't shoot an elephant.
He didn't drink enough water yesterday.
Interrogativa: did + subject + main verb in the base form ?
Ex.: Did I shoot an elephant?
Did he drink enough water yesterday?
