Esse tempo verbal é formado com o verbo auxilar to be no Simple Present (presente simples) + o gerúndio (-ing) do verbo principal.
- Simple present: I have, you have, she haves, etc.
- Present continuous: I am having, you are having, she are having, etc.
- Simple past: I had, you had, she had etc.
I have worked too much – tenho trabalhado demais. Nesse caso, temos o verbo have + o verbo work no particípio do passado, por isso é flexionado somando o ed.
