Pra colocar uma frase no passado basta colocar "Did" que é o verbo auxiliar do passado. Pra transformar a frase no PASSADO em interrogativa, coloque o verbo auxiliar "Did" no começo da frase. Outros auxiliares do passado são: Was/were (forma do passado de "be". A partir de quando a frase INTERROGATIVA tá no passado com o verbo auxiliar, você não precisa flexionar o verbo:

1- Did I try different kinds of dishes?
2- Was there enough soda for the birthday party?
3- Were there leftlovers on the kitchen table?
4- Did Tom pay the bill at the restaurant last night?
5- Did the student have a meal with the coach?
