Conditional Sentences

  • a primeira oração é escrita no Simple Present; e
  • a segunda oração no Simple Future.

A estrutura da frase é a seguinte:

  • If + verbo no Simple Present + Simple Future com will ou going to.
  • If I finish my homework, I will go to the party (Se eu terminar minha lição de casa, irei à festa).

  • verbo to be + not + going to + frase + if...:
  • He is not going to play hockey if the time don't want it.
  • verbo will + not + frase + if... :
  • He will not eat this food if you prepare it. / He won't eat the food if you prepare it.

E nas interrogações, o will ou o going to vão ficam localizados antes do sujeito.
