Só para complementar e te ajudar a entender: quando usamos “and” nos referimos ao “e”, por exemplo: ele gosta de sorvete e chocolate, ou seja, serve para “adicionar complementos”, meio que “acessórios”. Já o “but”, é o tal do “mas”.
Usamos ele para impor uma condição, por exemplo: Ele quer comer chocolate com morango, MAS (but) sua mãe não deixa.
