Video games aren't a 100% perfect thing, but they aren't 100% a bad thing, there is a Pros and Cons list to prove it:

Pros: You can make some virtual friends, depending on the game you might end up learning some English, you might develop motor coordination and so on.

and the Cons: you might meet some weird people, you might get stuck in this world and not even feel the need to feel the sun and so on.
