x" = 3 + √17/2 ≈ 3,56

Soma = (-0,56 + 3,56)

Soma = 3

Produto = (-0,56 × 3,56)

Produto = -1,9936

e) (x - 4) × (x + 5) = 0

x² + 5x - 4x - 20 = 0

x² + x - 20 = 0

∆ = 1² - 4.1.(-20)

∆ = 1 + 80

∆ = 81

x = -1 ± √81/2.1

x = -1 ± 9/2

x' = -1 - 9/2 = -5

x" = -1 + 9/2 = 4

Soma = (-5 + 4)

Soma = -1
